“泉城啄木鸟”活动持续进行中
Jinan, capital of East China's Shandong province, has been working to enhance its internationalization level and make life easier for foreigners working and living in the city as part of its efforts to serve the country's high-quality development.
Since 2020, the Office of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the CPC Jinan Municipal Committee has been actively planning and leading the creation of a harmonious and open environment benefiting all residents of the city as well as foreign nationals in Jinan.
“类海外”环境建设是提升城市国际化水平的重要抓手。为主动融入、服从服务黄河流域生态保护和高质量发展重大国家战略，自2020年起，济南市委外办紧紧围绕全市中心工作，结合外事工作实际，主动认领“类海外”环境建设有关工作任务，积极谋划，牵头打造惠及全市居民及在济外籍人士的和谐开放的“类海外”环境。如今，济南“类海外”环境建设逐步呈现百花齐放的态势。
The city has made significant strides in advancing the construction of an environment conducive to working, living, education, healthcare, entertainment and integration to help foreign nationals in Jinan feel at home.
近年来，济南在推进宜业、宜居、宜学、宜医、宜乐、宜融的“类海外”环境建设中取得了突破性进展。
In the endeavor to create a business-friendly environment, Jinan has established 24 foreign-related service spots in 15 districts, counties and key functional zones, catering to the needs of foreign nationals and making it easier for them to work and live in the city. Eight international talent clubs have been established in five places to provide a platform for international professionals in Jinan, offering regular policy briefings, investment attraction activities, and more.
打造“类海外”宜业环境方面，根据外籍人士分布特点，结合实际需求，在15个区县（功能区）及企业打造24个涉外服务港，为外籍人士在济工作生活提供更大便利。在5个区县（功能区）打造8个国际人才俱乐部，为在济人才提供国际化的活动场所，并定期开展政策宣讲、招商引资等主题活动。
宜居
To create a more pleasant living environment, Jinan has developed nine international communities and collaborated with Jinan Innovation Zone to create the city's first international talent community.
打造“类海外”宜居环境方面，指导部分区县（功能区）打造国际化社区9个，联合济南高新区打造全市首个国际人才社区。
宜学
It has also introduced a system for evaluating international schools in basic education, leading to the development of 10 schools offering an environment conducive to international education for the children of foreigners in Jinan.
打造“类海外”宜学环境方面，联合市教育局推出基础教育国际化学校评选制度，打造省实验中学、济南市托马斯外籍人员子女学校等10所学校国际化教育环境。
宜医
To boost healthcare, Jinan has launched a system for evaluating units based on international medical service standards. Five hospitals have been recognized as standardized units for international medical services.
打造“类海外”宜医环境方面，联合市卫健委推出国际医疗服务标准化单位评选制度，推出济南市中心医院、济南市儿童医院等5家医院为国际医疗服务标准化单位。
宜乐
In turns of entertainment, Jinan has organized a series of events tied to traditional festivals and hosted themed salon events, inviting foreign nationals to discuss the integration of Jinan's local characteristics with international urban development.
打造“类海外”宜乐环境方面，结合传统节日，举办系列活动；举办“类海外”环境建设主题沙龙活动，邀请来自美国、柬埔寨、德国、瑞士等国家的驻济国际友人，探讨济南地方特色和城市国际化融合发展的模式。
宜融
In addition, Jinan has introduced international etiquette standards to locals across the city and enlisted people from countries including Russia and Pakistan to serve as volunteers for foreign-related services and collaborate on various volunteer activities.
打造“类海外”宜融环境方面，面向全市推出《泉城市民国际礼仪规范》。积极发动外籍志愿者，招募来自俄罗斯、巴基斯坦等国的国际友人为涉外服务志愿者，联合开展志愿服务活动。
